Automotive filters are mainly divided into four categories:
1. The function of the air filter.
In order for the engine to operate normally, a large amount of pure air must be inhaled. If substances harmful to the engine (dust, colloid, alumina, acidified iron, etc.) in the air are inhaled, the cylinder barrel and piston components will increase the burden, causing abnormal wear and even mixing with engine oil, causing greater wear, resulting in deterioration of engine performance and shortened service life. At the same time, the air filter also has the function of silencing. The air filter is generally required to be replaced once every 10,000 kilometers to achieve the -use effect.
2. The role of air conditioning filters.
It is used to filter the air in the car compartment and the air circulation inside and outside the car compartment. Remove the air in the cabin or the dust, impurities, smoke, pollen, etc. that enter the air in the cabin to ensure the health of passengers. At the same time, the air conditioner filter also has the function of making the windshield difficult to atomize. Air-conditioning filters are generally required to be replaced once every 10,000 kilometers to achieve the results.
Misunderstanding: Most people think that the filter element only works when the air conditioner is turned on in summer; in fact, it is used to filter the air entering the car all year round. To protect your health, don't neglect the function of this small filter element!
3. Oil filter.
As a component of the internal combustion engine, it plays a very important role in the lubrication system. It can filter out impurities such as metal wear debris, carbon particles and colloids gradually produced by the engine oil that are generated during the combustion process of the engine and mixed into the engine oil. These impurities will accelerate the wear of moving parts and easily cause blockage of the lubricating oil circuit. The oil filter ensures the normal operation of the internal combustion engine, greatly improves the service life of the internal combustion engine, and also extends the service life of other parts.
4.
Fuel filter.
(Gasoline filter/gasoline grid/diesel grid) function
The function of the fuel filter is to filter the fuel (gasoline, diesel) needed for engine combustion, prevent foreign matter such as dust, metal powder, moisture, and organic matter brought in the fuel from entering the engine, and prevent engine wear and blockage of the fuel supply system.
